Overview

DAVID MONLLOR was born in 1987 in the canton of Aargau, where he still lives and works today. He first came into contact with the graffiti subculture at an early age, which has had a lasting influence on his works. Self-taught, Monllor perfected his techniques with the spray can and oil. His works focus on urban scenes and landscapes, which are created both open air and in the studio.

POLLO 7 (born 1992) lives and works as a freelance muralist in Basel. In an effort to explore oil painting, he began to paint studies of everyday things. In the process, a new passion crystallised, i.e. the focus on the moods and colours of unnoticed things. This has now resulted in a selection on the theme of "everyday life".

DANIEL ZELTNER, born in 1984 and living in Basel, is a freelance artist and illustrator. His art has its origins in American graffiti. His style is painterly, rough and yet conveys subtlety. His drawings, sketches and colourful studies are mostly created during travels and recreational phases. Bodies, movements and gestures, as well as objects, are captured and thus acquire a drama of their own.

RAFAEL MÁRQUEZ CELDRÁN - FAFA (born 1977 in Irun) is a Basel-based artist from Seville. He learned the art of classical painting at the "Facultad de Bellas Artes". Surrounded by the hip-hop movement of the 90s, he came into contact with urban art and its street painting at an early age. Fafa has a passion for capturing moods, which he lives out through sketches realised in the role of observer.
