Stefan Marx (*1979 in Schwalmstadt) is a draftsman, skateboarder and cultural philosopher. He studied typography, communication theory and cultural philosophy at HAW Hamburg. He shows his excellent powers of observation for his everyday environment in intelligent and often witty drawings and designs on skateboards, T-shirts, but also canvases, porcelain and house fronts. In his written works he captivates the viewer with pithy and humorous quotes or sayings in a strong visual language and unusual writing style. He self-publishes artist books, makes record covers for various labels and shows his work at art book fairs and galleries. Numerous interna-tional exhibitions and graphic work for programs and labels. In August 2019, his daily drawn New York Times column.
