Artstübli and Underdogs Gallery is happy to announce the release of 3 exciting 3D editions by internationally renowned artists Aakash Nihalani, Vhils and Simon Berger!
For this release, the artist used his well-known glass-working techniques and has invented a glass printing machine. To create skulls that transform and take on a life of their own when exposed to light.
"All of my artworks so far are one of a kind. I had to get creative for an edition. Of course I wanted to remain with the materialglass. Therefore I started to do some experimentsto achieve my technique on a mechanical way. Same principal; to gain a new meaning by breaking glass. I am happy whenever a piece embodies power. This batch of editions is particularly special because it is the first time Aakash Nihalani and Simon Berger collaborate with Underdogs Gallery; the first ever edition by Simon Berger; and the first time Vhils releases work created using papier maché.
The 3 talented artists accepted the challenge of creating a 3D edition that reflects their personal style and aesthetic, using unprecedent techniques and refined production processes.
